Regrettably, we do not offer casual trials or one-time experiences, focusing instead on serious, long-term study. **
**Bookings must be made 3 weeks before the session starts.**
**Due to certain circumstances, all classes except for Course C online are limited to women only.**

Course A: Regular Class (Monthly)

  • Concept: Master the entire process from fundamental techniques to the final gold finish.
  • Structured Learning: We study key points using a textbook along with brief demonstrations of each technique.
  • Schedule: (Twice a month / 2 hours per session)
    • Monday Class:
       1st & 3rd Mondays, 17:00–19:00(1 seat left)
    • Tuesday Class:
       1st & 3rd Tuesdays, 13:00–15:00
    • Friday Class:
       2nd & 4th Fridays, 13:00–15:00
  • Fees:
    • Registration Fee: ¥25,000 (One-time)
    • Monthly Fee: (Includes 2 lessons per month)
      Basic class ¥33,000
      Makie decoration class ¥55,000
  • Note: A minimum 6-month commitment is required (varies by vessel condition). After the basics, you may continue to advanced techniques like Makie and Raden.

    ② Economy Set: ¥20,000 (Minimal tools with acrylic brushes. No finishing powder.)
    ③ Authentic Set (Paper Box): ¥38,000 (Full toolkit with traditional Makie brushes. Includes 1g Silver Maru-fun & 0.2g Silver Hiragoku-fun.)
    ④ Premium Authentic Set (Paulownia Box): ¥48,000 (Highest quality toolkit in a traditional wooden box.)
    Note: Gold powder is not included. Various Makie powders (Gold, Silver, Platinum, Brass) are available for separate purchase at the studio.

Course B: Skill-up Plan

You can take either one 2-hour lesson or up to two 4-hour lessons per day, for as many days as you’d like.
The schedule can be discussed based on availability.

  • Target: For experienced practitioners who wish to refine specific techniques (e.g., powder polishing).
  • Fee: (Up to two lessons (4 hours total) per day)
     ①Basic tecnique (Basic Kintsugi) ¥44,000 (Per 2-hour lesson)
    ②Advanced tecnique (including Makie, Raden etc.) ¥66,000 (Per 2-hour lesson)

Course C: Online Lessons by KINTSUGI JAPAN

Important Notes

  • Eligibility: Regrettably, we do not offer workshops for absolute beginners.
  • Urushi Rashes: We provide instructions on prevention, but we cannot be held responsible for any allergic reactions. Participation is at your own risk.
  • Communication: As the instructor is a non-native speaker, AI translation tools will be used to facilitate communication. We appreciate your understanding.
  • Closures: Closed on National Holidays, Dec 28 – Jan 4, and Jul 1 – Aug 31. We may close during severe weather or unavoidable circumstances (advance notice provided).
